I was so excited when I saw that the sequel to the Reeve LeClaire series! I wasn't ready for her story to end and really wanted to keep following her journey of healing.
In this book Reeve must face the man her tortured her for four years, Daryl Wayne Flint. For years Flint convinced everyone that he was a model patience and not a danger. Supposable he is still suffering from a head injury he suffered in the accident that freed Reeve. The doctors say he Post-concussive syndrome a condition he got from the accident that freed Reeve. Little does anyone know, he has been planning his escape. He starts trying to get back to his old tricks and pray on young girls. Reeve of course has more insight on Flint than anyone. Despite her families concerns she cant just sit back and wait for him to be caught. Along with retired agent Milo Bender, she knows that Flint has to be stopped no matter the cost.
In the novel it is revealed that Flint had an accomplice and you really get more to Reeve's story. Once again Carla Norton hit it out of the park.. Five stars!
